The transport industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the US. Some schools even offer 'pre-hire' employment opportunities, even before the course is completed.

There are some factors which need to be considered before you enroll for a truck driving school. Probably the most important factor which needs to be considered is the cost of the truck driving training. This is not a very cheap education program and tuition fees vary according to the school you choose. Since the PTDI accredited schools are the most valued schools, it would make better sense if you enrolled into one such institution which has this accreditation. Other issues like course content, duration of the program, school facilities, admission requirements, placement opportunities and the number of hours which you will get for practical hands-down driving experience need to be seriously looked into before you take the plunge.
